  • A new package for handling datasets: openfisca-uk-data
    • Simpler and more modular approach, making it easier to create custom input datasets
    • Shift from CSV input to HDF5 hierarchical format ensures one file per dataset
    • Speed improvements from optimised FRS and SPI input datasets
  • Removed dependency on a fork of OpenFisca-Core rather than the official package, ensuring the model benefits from updates from OpenFisca
  • Postcode/geographic lookup features in variables
  • All variables now yearly, bringing speed improvements without reduced accuracy

The Policy Simulation Library (PSL) is a collection of open-source models and software for public-policy decisionmaking.
